Why we built it

Every South African business that collects personal information needs a POPIA-aligned privacy policy, and most either pay a lawyer thousands of rand for one or copy a foreign template that does not reflect South African law.

Selling legal documents online runs into an immediate trust problem, too: the buyer cannot judge the product before paying. And most compliance tooling is sold as a subscription, which is a poor fit for a document a small business generates once and uses for years.

What we built

A generator wizard that produces the actual documents from the buyer's own business details and lets them read a watermarked version before paying. Preview-before-purchase removes the category's main objection, and it is only possible because generation takes about a minute.

Once-off pricing stated plainly - a single document or the full bundle of seven, pay once and keep it - positioned openly against subscription competitors. Checkout runs through PayFast, so buyers pay in rand with the methods they already use.

Downloads in TXT, PDF and DOCX, because the person buying a privacy policy needs to paste it into a website, attach it to an email and edit it later. One format would fail two of those three.

A free compliance checklist and a POPIA guide sit at the top of the funnel, reaching people researching the obligation long before they are ready to buy anything.

Why it works

Unlimited regeneration after purchase means that when the business changes - a new address, a new service, a new way of collecting data - the documents change with it at no cost. That turns a one-time sale into a reason to come back, without a subscription.
