The person visiting this site is often a parent, partner or sibling rather than the person who needs treatment, and they are usually looking late at night. That changes what the site has to do: it has to be calm, it has to be legible quickly, and it has to make contact feel low-stakes.

It also has to establish that the practitioner is real and qualified, in a field where that is a genuine and reasonable concern.

What we built

The practitioner leads the homepage by name and face rather than the organisation - in one-to-one therapeutic work, the person is the offer, and anonymity reads as evasive.

Accreditation gets its own navigation item rather than a line in the footer, because for this audience it is a primary question, not a credential to be modest about.

Phone number and email sit in a bar above the navigation on every page. Someone in crisis should never have to navigate to Contact.

An online therapy pathway sits alongside the in-person programme, which widens the practice beyond Pretoria East without diluting the local positioning.

Design notes

The tone is deliberately steady rather than clinical or dramatic. Health sites in this space often reach for either stock-photo serenity or urgency, and both make it harder for someone to take the next small step.
